Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for supporting RATNAPRAKALP FOUNDATION. Please read this policy carefully before making a donation.
1. General Policy
All donations made to RATNAPRAKALP FOUNDATION are voluntary contributions to a charitable cause. As a general rule, donations are non-refundable once processed, as funds are immediately directed towards our charitable programmes.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same transaction.
- Technical error: If a technical fault caused an incorrect amount to be charged.
- Unauthorised transaction: If you believe your payment details were used without your consent.
Refund requests for the above must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us with:
- Your full name and email address used during donation
- Transaction ID or payment reference number
- Reason for the refund request

4. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days and credited back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Tax Receipts
If a refund is processed for a donation for which an 80G receipt has been issued, the receipt will stand cancelled and you will be required to reverse the tax deduction claimed.
6. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
If you have set up a recurring donation, you may cancel it at any time by contacting us before the next scheduled deduction date. Amounts already processed will not be refunded.
